Why “Sursum Corda”?

The Latin phrase Sursum Corda, meaning “Lift up your hearts,” can be found in most ancient Christian liturgies as a preface to the Eucharistic Prayer. It is still used, in modern language, in the liturgy of the Anglican, Roman Catholic and Methodist churches, amonst others.

It also contains the letters CMS (albeit in reverse order) which stand for Content Management System.
